Event Summary#

Had a wonderful experience collaborating with students and validating their industrial projects at Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, Coimbatore. It was exciting to witness first-year students already building complete full-stack applications with strong enthusiasm and problem-solving mindset.
One of the most interesting observations was how actively students are integrating AI into their development workflow. Rather than just using AI for generating code, many students explored different AI tools, experimented with implementations, and attempted to understand the overall solution deeply.

The event was filled with innovative ideas, practical implementations, and energetic discussions around development, scalability, usability, and real-world applications. It was inspiring to see students becoming proactive learners and adapting quickly to modern software engineering practices.
Of course, there were also some fun moments:
“Sir… it worked before the presentation!” 😄
But beyond the humor, the passion and curiosity shown by the students were truly impressive.

The best projects were not only technically strong but also focused on solving meaningful problems with clarity and purpose. It was great to see students thinking beyond academic requirements and approaching projects with a product mindset.
My Contribution#
- Validated and reviewed multiple industrial student projects.
- Interacted with students to understand their problem statements and technical approaches.
- Guided students toward proper engineering practices and structured learning approaches.

- Helped students understand the importance of fundamentals alongside AI-assisted development.
- Shared insights on scalable development, clean implementation, and problem-solving mindset.
- Encouraged students to use AI as a learning accelerator rather than becoming fully dependent on it.
- Collaborated with students during discussions and explored new AI development tools introduced by them.
- Evaluated project architecture, implementation quality, innovation, and real-world applicability.
- Motivated students to focus on critical thinking, debugging, and system understanding in the AI era.

It was a great experience contributing as a mentor and evaluator while also learning from the creativity and energy of the students. Looking forward to seeing many of these ideas evolve into impactful real-world solutions in the future.
