Event Summary#
Tamil Nadu Java User Group participated in a panel discussion at VET Institute of Arts and Science as part of the planning and collaboration for an upcoming hackathon. The discussion brought together representatives from academia, industry, startups, and the developer community to explore how hackathons can become a platform for solving real-world challenges.

The session focused on bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry expectations by encouraging students to work on practical, sustainable, and impactful solutions. The panel emphasized the importance of mentorship, collaboration, innovation, and community-driven learning in preparing students for future careers.
This collaboration marks another milestone in TNJUG’s mission to build a thriving technology ecosystem by connecting students, professionals, educational institutions, startups, and industry experts. The long-term vision is to expand this initiative into a national-level hackathon that fosters innovation and creates meaningful societal impact.

The event concluded with a shared commitment from all partners to empower students through hands-on learning, industry exposure, and community engagement.
