Event Summary#
I had the opportunity to visit Vellalar College of Arts and Science, Erode, where I conducted an engaging session focused on Core Java fundamentals with a group of enthusiastic and curious students.
The session was aimed at revisiting and strengthening the foundational concepts of Java, which are essential for building a strong base in software development. Rather than delivering a one-sided lecture, the session evolved into an interactive and collaborative learning experience, where students actively participated, asked questions, and shared their perspectives.

What made this session particularly meaningful was the two-way nature of learning:
- While I was sharing my knowledge and experience in Core Java
- I was also revisiting concepts from a fresh perspective, inspired by the students’ curiosity and thought processes
The environment encouraged open discussion, making it easier to break down complex topics into simple, understandable ideas. This created a space where learning felt natural, engaging, and impactful.

The energy and involvement of the students turned the session into more than just a teaching experienceβit became a shared journey of learning and growth.
This experience once again reinforced a powerful idea: Teaching is one of the best ways to deepen your own understanding.
My Contribution#
During this session at Vellalar College, I contributed as a mentor and knowledge facilitator, focusing on making Core Java concepts clear, relatable, and practically useful.

My contributions included:
- Delivering Core Java Sessions: Covered essential Java concepts, helping students strengthen their programming fundamentals.
- Simplifying Complex Concepts: Broke down key topics into easy-to-understand explanations with practical examples.
- Encouraging Interactive Learning: Fostered an environment where students felt comfortable asking questions and engaging in discussions.
- Knowledge Exchange & Mentorship: Guided students on how to approach Java learning effectively and build a strong technical foundation.
- Continuous Self-Learning: Used the opportunity to refresh and deepen my own Core Java knowledge through teaching and interaction.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to:
- Rajadurai Krishnamoorthy
- Sathish Kumar Thiyagarajan
for providing this opportunity to connect with students and contribute to a meaningful knowledge-sharing experience.

This session was a reminder that true learning happens when knowledge is shared collaboratively.
