Event Summary#
An academic knowledge-sharing session was conducted at Knowledge Institute of Technology (KIOT), focused on Data Analytics and its practical applications. The session provided students with an opportunity to explore data-driven concepts, understand industry perspectives, and interact through discussions around technology and real-world problem solving.
The event also included active interactions with students and an opportunity to learn about their creative and innovative projects, making it an engaging two-way learning and knowledge-sharing experience.
My Contribution / Learnings#
I served as the Data Analytics session speaker and mentor, sharing insights from my M.Tech learning journey and practical experience with the students. I explained key concepts, discussed real-world applications, addressed student questions, and encouraged them to approach technology through practical problem solving.
- Data Analytics Concepts & Applications: Delivered an interactive session exploring key data-driven concepts, practical tools, and how data analytics is applied to solve industry problems.
- Hands-on Student Mentoring: Interacted directly with student teams to understand their projects, provided constructive feedback on their ideas, and encouraged their innovative approach to technology.
- Two-Way Learning: The experience strongly reflected my belief that “The best way to learn is to teach” — while sharing knowledge with the students, I also gained new perspectives and fresh inspiration from their ideas and projects.
- Practical Problem-Solving Mindset: Encouraged students to look beyond theoretical definitions and cultivate hands-on experimentation and critical problem-solving skills.
